Tours are $5/person (as of this writing) and run every half hour on Saturday, Sunday, and the weekdays. You'll see all of the Harpoon logos on the trucks and brew tanks. The place is located just a few blocks from the World Trade Center stop on the Silver Line bus route, just past the Bank of America pavilion in an industrial park. The route ended with a great tour of Harpoon Brewery (and yes, there was plenty of sampling to take advandage of!) I really can't recommend it highly enough, whether you're from out of town or a local who wants to learn a little more about the city.The Harpoon Brewery was our first brewery tour. The pace itself was comfortable, and Brian was excellent at checking to see how we were doing and making sure we were safe on the busy streets of Boston. I learned a lot on the tour about places I had just walked by before. Our guide, Brian, couldn't have been better as he took us all over the city, from the Seaport District to Boston Common, the North End and back, stopping to explain some of the sites and their history (including some wonderful cemeteries). The group was fairly small (it was near the end of November, but it was sunny and cool). I've visited Boston many times, but never had a chance to learn about its history so, since I enjoy running, I decided to sign up for this tour, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning about the city's history and getting a few miles in. You will be responsible for your arrival to and departure from the meeting location. This run includes bag and coat check and a bottle of water. There will be stops along the way to take in the scenery and talk about the landscape. Paul Dudley White Bicycle Path, a paved loop stretching from the Science Museum upstream nine miles to Watertown on both sides of the river. The Charles River is blessed with the Dr. Boston is the home of the world’s oldest annual Marathon, and its population routinely ranks among the nations fittest cities. Running is part of the fabric of this city.
